The biggest star of the Brazilian national team Neymar won his second Ligue 1 title with Paris Saint-Germain this season.
He played only 16 games though, scoring 14 goals and providing seven assists in the process, which means the 27-year-old had a hand in 1,32 goals per game to this point of the campaign.
Neymar missed three months through a foot injury, which he sustained in a Coupe de France game against Strasbourg in January. He returned on time for the Cup Final against Rennes, noting a goal and assist in the first half to secure a 2-0 lead to his side.
PSG lost the game on penalties, however, while Neymar totally lost control, assaulting a Rennes’ fan after the end of the games. He has been handed a three games ban for the reaction, which practically means the 2018-19 campaign is already over for the Brazilian.
