Wojciech Szczesny has criticized Ronaldo for not playing well in recent times.

Juventus were able to sneak away with all three points in their last match. The Old Lady faced tough competition from Milan, but Paulo Dybala’s low driven strike was enough for them to emerge victorious.

Despite the win, Wojciech Szczesny spoke against Cristiano Ronaldo for his poor display.

Ronaldo was taken off just ten minutes into the half time. The number-7 showed visible signs of frustration at his substitution.

But Sarri later confirmed that the Portuguese star was substituted because of a knee problem.

“Over the last month Cristiano has had this knee problem, he had a knock in training and it hurt the collateral ligament.

“When he trains at or plays, it unbalances him, so he ends up overcompensating and it damages the calf and thigh muscles. It is affecting his performances,” Sarri said.

Szczesny also acknowledged his teammate’s behavior and assured that he understands Ronaldo’s anger.

“Ronaldo leaving? We’re not worried, I think that when a player of this level is replaced after 50 minutes it’s normal that he gets a little upset. He’s not doing very well at the moment, but no one can question him.

“He’ll always make a difference. We’re all the same, I’d do that too.”
