The Portugese superstar has made the lineup after spending another brilliant season at Old Trafford.

Professional Footballers’ Association (PFA) have announced their official Team of the Year. Despite Manchester City’s title-winning campaign in the Premier League, Liverpool have the most players in the lineup.

Alisson Becker stands behind a four-man defence line consisting of Antonio Rudiger, Virgil van Dijk, Joao Cancelo and Trent Alexander.

In midfield, Thiago Alcantara is selected alongside Bernardo Silva and Kevin De Bruyne.

Mohamed Salah, who won the Player of the Year award, plays with Cristiano Ronaldo and Sadio Mane as the team’s forwards.

Rudiger and Ronaldo are the only players on the list who don’t play for Liverpool or Man City.

The Chelsea defender remained a key player for the Blues in his last season at the club. On the other hand, Ronaldo kept his good form despite Manchester United’s struggles.

It was Ronaldo’s first campaign since returning to Old Trafford from Juventus. But the five-time Ballon d’Or winner lived up to expectations.

The Red Devils star scored 18 goals in his 30 league appearances for United, saving his side on multiple occasions.

United fans selected Ronaldo as the club’s Player of the Season, while he also won the Red Devils’ Goal of the Season award for his incredible long-range strike against Tottenham.

Let’s see if CR7 can find his place in Erik ten Hag’s plans next season.
