Another abrupt ending to the Old Lady’s European journey has led to intense speculations about the future of their superstar.

There have been a lot of rumors lately that Juventus and Cristiano Ronaldo could part ways at the end of the season.

Juventus signed ‘Mr. Champions League’ with hopes of achieving European glory. Not only have they failed to do so, however, but they have also suffered an early exit from Europe’s most prestigious club competition three times in succession now.

It is also being claimed that the Serie A champions plan on cashing in on their most expensive signing and use those funds to rebuild their aging squad.

Ronaldo has less than 16 months remaining on his current Juve contract, and he could head out the exit door this summer. And according to Tuttosport, a Manchester United reunion is more likely for him than a Real Madrid return.

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez would rather invest in long-term target Kylian Mbappe than bring back the 36-year-old forward.

CR7 also prefers a switch to Old Trafford, where he announced himself to the world and rose to prominence. He enjoyed considerable success during his six-year stint at Man Utd, winning three Premier League titles, Champions League trophy, and the first of his five Ballon d’Or awards, among a host of other accolades.
