Cristiano Ronaldo has made a rallying call to Juventus fans and players suggesting it’s possible to overturn the 2-0 Champions League deficit with Atletico Madrid.

Juve fans will be pumped for the showdown in the Allianz stadium after seeing how the likes of Ajax and United qualified despite losing the first-leg.

The Bianconeri were humbled 2-0 at the Wanda Metropolitano a fortnight ago. But Ronaldo believes they can stage a comeback with the right mentality and approach in Turin on Tuesday night.

“This team, in my opinion, is having a fantastic season. We are on top of the League, 16 points ahead of second, and we are happy with what we’re doing in the league.

“We won the Super Cup against Milan, now our goal is the league, of course, and also the Champions League,” CR7 told Juventus TV.

The gap at the top of the Serie A table was extended to 18 points after Napoli drew 1-1 with Sassuolo on Sunday evening.

“I think the team is good, is confident, we believe. We have to do it with a special night.

“I want to say to the fans that on Tuesday night let’s think positive, let’s believe. It’s possible, but we need your help to make the stadium beautiful, everyone together.

“We need your help, as we’ll going to do our job on the pitch, try to score goals and win the game, and we need your support.

“Get ready to comeback!”

Juve have not won the Champions League since 1996 having won it on two occasions in their entire history the other one came in 1985.
