A 36-year-old Cristiano Ronaldo proved yet again that age is just a number with an incredible sprint in Portugal’s 0-0 draw with Spain.
Cristiano Ronaldo sprinted from box-to-box in only 10 seconds in the 87th-minute of Portugal’s 0-0 draw with Spain.
Friday’s friendly didn’t exactly go the way Portugal hoped, but the defending European champions left the Wanda Metropolitano unbeaten and still have another friendly against Israel to go next Wednesday.
And this brilliant late sprint run from Ronaldo suggests their star man remains at the top of his game for the European Championship.
The 36-year-old started out inside the Portugal box before sprinting to the other side in no time at all as his Portugal teammates began a quick counterattack upon retrieving the ball from Spain.

What did the fans have to say?
While Portugal’s late move came to nothing in the end, Ronaldo’s stunning run didn’t go unnoticed by Twitter users.
What next for Portugal?
Ronaldo and Portugal will be back in action next Wednesday for one last friendly against Israel in Lisbon.
Fernando Santos’ men then begin their title defense in the European Championship by facing Hungary in Budapest on June 15 in their Group F opener. Germany (June 19) and France (June 23) come afterward.
