After winning Scudettos, Capocannoniere, breaking multiple records, and making new ones, the footballing icon recently departed Turin.
Cristiano Ronaldo decided to leave Juventus as he had become “bored in Italy”, according to his close friend and UFC legend Khabib Nurmagomedov.
The footballing world went into a frenzy and the Manchester United supporters into euphoria when the club officially confirmed last week that they have re-signed Ronaldo after 12 years.
While the five-time Ballon d’Or winner’s move served as a huge source of surprise to the vast majority of fans and general audience alike, Khabib earlier stated that he was anticipating it.
The former MMA artist has once again come out with a shocking claim in a recent interview with the Russian outlet RT Sport.
Quizzed whether he had tried to persuade Ronaldo into rejoining Real Madrid, Khabib responded: “I don’t know, I wouldn’t like to reveal our private chat.
“Well, he told me that he was bored in Italy and that he would like to move to England.
“For real, when I watch Italian football, I’m not a big fan of it. English football, on the contrary, I would never switch it off. No matter which team is playing, it’s always a spectacle.”
