Police have launched a probe on underage Cristiano Ronaldo Jr. after he was filmed driving a jet ski without any adult supervision.

Juventus superstar Cristiano Ronaldo‘s son is currently spending time away on holiday, but he has managed to land himself in the wrong kind of hot water.

In a video uploaded to social media, 10-year old Ronaldo Jr. was seen riding a jet ski all by himself.

Uploaded by his aunt Elma Aveiro, the video is reportedly filmed in Paul do Mar off the south of Madeira, where he is currently holidaying along with his relatives. The video was also subsequently shared by his famous father and grandmother Dolores Aveiro before being taken down.

Controversy has been stirred up by the video, with a minor behind the wheels of a jet ski. Treated as driving any other vehicle, Jet skiing without a license is considered an offense.

On Monday, as the Mirror reports, Madeira Maritime Police chief confirmed that they are investigating the case while also trying to determine whether the jet ski was a personal possession or a rental.

Portuguese law dictates that individual fines for using a jet ski without a proper license could range between €298 and €2990. For groups or private firms, fines can be a whopping €11,960.
