Cristiano Ronaldo’s decision to escape Turin and his subsequent social media pictures are apparently causing problems at Juventus.

As soon as the Serie campaign was put on hold, Cristiano Ronaldo boarded his private jet and headed to Portugal.

Following the positive tests of Juventus teammate Daniele Rugani, CR7 was supposed to be quarantined.

However, while there is no dispute about whether he quarantined or not, the problem seems to be that he simply upped and left.

Juventus is a team full of international superstars. Ronaldo’s departure apparently led to other players wanting to do the same thing.

The original reason given by the club was the circumstances surrounding his mother’s health. But it appears that his social media posts or those made by others with him in it are causing a stir too.

Former Juve president Giovanni Cobolli Gigli, told Radio Punto Nuovo, that his actions are not good for the club and should be stopped.

Gigli said:

“The thing at Juventus got complicated when Cristiano Ronaldo left.”

“Ronaldo said he went to Portugal because of his mother, but now he only appears to take pictures in the pool.”

“When this exception was made, the situation fell apart and others wanted to go.”

“It shouldn’t have been like that. They should all have been quarantined.”

Since Ronaldo’s return to Portugal, Gonzalo Higuain, Miralem Pjanic, Sami Khedira, Douglas Costa, and Rodrigo Bentancur have all made trips out of Turin to their homelands.

Gigli added:

“Criticizing now is easy, but, seen from the outside, I don’t understand why some players wanted to leave Italy.”

“When they return it will be more difficult to get back into shape because they will have to be quarantined for 14 days.”

The latest post of Ronaldo is far from isolation, as his extended family is all in the picture in the gym.
