RB Salzburg Coach Marco Rose believes Napoli have the quality to clinch the Europa League title after their exit in the competition.
Salzburg got a bit of revenge with their 3-1 on the night, but that wasn’t enough to see them through considering the 3-0 first leg loss in Naples.
Polish striker Milik ensured Carletto’s men got off to a good start with a goal early in the game but a late flurry of goals secured victory for the Austrian team.
However, manager Marco Rose took the positives in what he felt was a great team display.
“Unfortunately, we were eliminated and you can’t give Napoli half a chance, or they will punish you. We still take positives from the experience and were superior tonight,” said the Coach in his Press conference via Football Italia.
“We are satisfied to have won, but also a little disappointed that it wasn’t enough. I am proud of my lads and their performance, as it was a spectacular two-legged tie with Napoli. I also thank the fans, who stayed behind to applaud us after the final whistle.”
Rose went further to tip the Italians to go all the way and win the trophy.

“Napoli are among the favourites to win the Europa League and really impressed me, as they scored three goals at home and got one here too. They have a lot of quality and in my view are the favourites.
“I hope Napoli win the Europa League, as I think they’re the best team remaining.”
The Italians are in the quarter-finals with Chelsea, Arsenal, Villarreal, Valencia, Benfica, Eintracht Frankfurt and Slavia Prague.
