The Hungary manager believes the Wales winger is one of the best young prospects in Europe right now, and he will do wonders in his next club.
Swansea City winger Daniel James is set to join Manchester United during the summer transfer window.
But meanwhile, the player is representing his country Wales in the EURO 2020 Qualifiers.
The Welsh squad is set to play against Hungary tomorrow, and Hungary’s manager Marco Rossi has compared James with former Brazil striker Ronaldo and runner Usain Bolt.
“James’ speed reminds me of Usain Bolt – to be so fast like him is really incredible,” Rossi said at his pre-match press conference according to Sky Sports.
“In the last years, I don’t remember one player that gave me this sensation.”
“His acceleration is so peculiar, which is why Manchester United have bought him,” he added.
“In the past, I played against a very fast player who, for me, was the best after Maradona – Ronaldo.”
“He was just not known for speed, but for everything,” the Hungary manager said.
“His acceleration looked like James, though at the moment the skills are a little bit different.”
James debuted professionally in 2016 with Swansea and was loaned to Shrewsbury Town in 2017.
Four days ago he underwent a medical examination with Manchester United to join them in the summer.
