Hosts United Arab Emirates (UAE) were on their way to advance to the next round but a 90+1 minute goal by Turnusali Rustamov saw the team going into extra time.
There Ahmed Khalil gave the UAE a win, after scoring a penalty kick goal, sending the whole country into celebrations.
Meanwhile, South Korea needed a goal by Kim Jin-Su in overtime to beat Bahrain 2-1.
The last guest in the Quarterfinals is Qatar, which defeated Iraq 1-0 to advance to the next round.
