Head coach of Olympique Marseille Rudi Garcia believes he is in love with the Stadio Olimpico but admits they need a victory against Lazio in order to stay in the Europa League.

It kicks off on Thursday and Marseille have just one point from the opening three games.

“We must be very concentrated and not lose confidence after recent defeats,” said Garcia in his Press conference via Football Italia, referring also to poor Ligue 1 form that has seen them lose three in a row in all competition.

“There must be fewer errors and we have to control games better. Even if we have faced some very strong opponents, we shouldn’t have lost so many.”

“Now we’re in a situation where we know it’s not possible to make another mistake and we have to win. Lazio are a strong side, but we hope for the best.”

“I have to make some changes to the starting XI tomorrow because many players need to recharge their batteries.”

Ravel Morrison – from Man United’s wonderkid to FK Osterunds

Ravel Morrison has moved to Osterunds on Thursday and we would like to talk about his (unsuccessful) career.

“It is our duty to battle to the end, then we’ll see where we are in the group. I just hope our European adventure doesn’t end tomorrow.”

“I love this stadium very much. In France, if there are two big clubs in the same city, they have two different stadiums, but in Italy they usually share.”

“That means both Romanisti and Laziali love this stadium. I’m happy to be here and straight away felt the air of home.”

When asked about reports on whether Marseille want to sign Lazio forward Felipe Caicedo in January, Garcia says:

“There are many rumours without foundation. I am happy with my players, so I’m not interested.”
