A report from Italy claims Zlatan Ibrahimovic has decided to extend his stay with Milan and will discuss it with the club over the coming days.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic could be close to agreeing a new deal with Milan according to a report.
The 38-year-old has made a massive impact at the club since he joined in January.
Ibrahimovic has contributed nine goals and five assists in 17 games as the Rossoneri climbed up to sixth on the Serie A table.
His most recent goals saw him set a brilliant record even at the age of 38.
A few days ago, a report claimed Milan were considering a contract extension for a number of players including Ibrahimovic.
The report adds that Zlatan’s salary would be somewhere around €4m a year. The total package could yet increase due to several bonuses related to the amount of goals scored, matches played, the club’s performance in the Europa League, and in case of qualification for the Champions League 2021-22.
At 38, it is speculated that Ibrahimovic would most likely extend for a further year should he choose to keep playing.
