Wolves striker Raul Jimenez could be closing in on a move to Manchester United, according to reports from Portugal.
Raul Jimenez has been linked with Manchester United for a while and a report is now claiming the Red Devils have secured their man.
The Mexican international was reportedly on United’s January wish-list before they opted for Odion Ighalo on deadline day.
Jimenez has justified interest in him so far, having come off another brilliant campaign for Wolves.
Asides United, Juventus, and the Spanish duo of Barcelona and Real Madrid have also been linked to the 29-year-old.
But the Red Devils might have just won the race. Public service broadcaster RTP claims the forward will join Man United but no price has been quoted yet.
Wolves will then replace him with Braga’s Paulinho in a deal worth around €30million.
The 27-year-old scored 17 goals in the Portuguese league this season and Nuno Espirito Santo is believed to see him as the ideal replacement for Jimenez.
The forward has stressed that he’s happy at the Molineaux but who knows if he’s been tempted by the lure of a bigger challenge
