There is speculation surrounding the futures of both Paul Pogba and Matthijs De Ligt, is there a swap deal in the works?
Paul Pogba’s future at Manchester United is still very much unresolved after almost an entire season out injured. If we are honest, a lack of consistent performances when he has been fit has been lacking too.
Then there is Matthijs De Ligt, the supposed defensive future of Juventus, who has struggled to say the least since his arrival from Ajax. The young Dutchman has failed to live up to his reputation and his price tag.
That leaves two clubs in a situation, where they are considering the future of their players. United are willing to listen to offers for Pogba, while Juventus are wondering about a similar situation with De Ligt.
Juventus in the meantime have made their intentions clear. That, if there is a chance of Pogba leaving Old Trafford they want a shot at signing him.
According to The Sun, negotiations may have already begun.
While United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer recently admitted the downtime due to coronavirus has given him an opportunity to spend time working on his summer transfer strategy.
