A report has claimed Manchester United could consider a move for Kinglsey Coman should they see no breakthrough in their push for Jadon Sancho.
Manchester United are reportedly in talks with Bayern Munich regarding a move for winger Kingsley Coman.
However, the deal looks to have dragged on and on with no significant breakthrough so far. Numerous reports have claimed Borussia Dortmund will only consider a fee upwards of £100m. United are unwilling to pay that amount.
Still with the intent to bolster their attacking options, the Manchester outfit could now turn to Coman to solve that problem. This is according to a report by The Athletic.
The 24-year-old has featured in 35 total appearances for Bayern this season but that could change soon enough.
It is believed that the arrival of Leroy Sane could leave Coman with limited game-time. A scenario that could see him consider an offer if one does come in.
The presence of French compatriots Paul Pogba and Anthony Martial is also said to be in United’s favour should they press ahead with a bid for the Frenchman.
With Coman having three years remaining on his current Bayern contract, it remains to be seen how much it would cost to sign the winger. Regardless, it’s expected he could cost United way less than they would have to pay for Jadon Sancho.
