Rumors of Ronaldo to Barcelona is all false news

It appears there is no iota of truth to recent reports claiming Cristiano Ronaldo was offered to Barcelona.

Reports from all over claim Ronaldo is looking for a way out of Juventus but it might all be false.

Juventus suffered a shock exit from the Champions League round of 16 last week. It was all the more questionable that it was at the hands of Lyon.

After the defeat, the rumor mill went in with full force. The first was rumors claiming Ronaldo was considering a move to PSG. It was even reported that his superstar agent Jorge Mendes was on the lookout for a new club for his client.

Just days later, Spanish football expert Guillem Balague also claimed CR7 was offered to Barcelona with Juventus looking to cut off his huge wages.

Since those rumors surfaced, Jorge Mendes or Cristiano Ronaldo himself has not come out to dismiss those claims.

But Spanish outlet AS took matters into their own hands.

The player’s inner circle replied to an inquiry made by the outlet. According to the report, AS say they contacted Ronaldo’s camp about recent rumors and got a response saying “It’s all false”.

While it would be a dream to see CR7 and Messi in the same team, we have to admit that the chances of that happening are rather slim.
