The word is still that the deal hinges on Dybala agreeing to go to Manchester. Problem is the delay has alerted Inter to his availability.

We are still anxiously awaiting the confirmation that the Romelu Lukaku Paulo Dybala swap deal is done.

As Ronaldo.com brought you yesterday, the Lukaku side is agreed. United just need to convince the Argentine Old Trafford is the place for him.

According to The Mirror, this delay has alerted Inter Milan.

The Italians had been in the chase for Lukaku.

But having been priced out of the deal. They have turned their attentions elsewhere.

This elsewhere may be Paulo Dybala.

He ticks all the boxes for the Serie A team. Juventus may be willing to do some trading of their own with the Nerazzurri.

Wantaway Mauro Icardi could head to Turin and Dybala to Milan.

Everyone’s a winner. Everyone except Manchester United and Romelu Lukaku.

This turn of events would leave both club and player in a very difficult position.

The story so far:

Lukaku has made it very public he wants out of Old Trafford. Solskjaer says if a club meets our valuation we will take it into consideration.

Inter offered around 55 million for Lukaku. Well below the United valuation of 80 million.

They tried to add Icardi to the deal. The player doesn’t interest United.

Upstep Juventus.

They want to swap. They have Dybala for sale at around 80 million. United like the idea.

Lukaku agrees to the move. He just wants out. Paulo Dybala, on the other hand, isn’t so sure.

Upstep Inter. To cut United and Lukaku out of the deal.

This transfer has a few more twists and turns in it yet as deadline day approaches.
