Gennaro Gattuso turns down Nantes for Miami.

According to Football Italia, Walter Senga’s has been appointed as their new manager.

This, however, was due to Gattuso’s rejection of the job.

Gennaro Gattuso was released in May by AC Milan after failure to qualify for the Champions League  2018/19 season.

The Milan board claiming it was the minimum expectation when he was given the job.

It appears though that he won’t be out of work for too long. He is being lined up by former midfield partner and teammate David Beckham.

Gattuso was offered the role at Nantes, but he turned down the opportunity.

The French club is now in negotiations with Zenga, who left Serie B side Venezia in March.

Luis Suarez has convinced fellow Uruguay international Nicolas Lodeiro he will eventually swap Barcelona for the MLS.

Zenga has a wealth of managerial experience having worked in:

Inter Miami part-owner Jorge Mas, shared the details of the progress already being made building the team.

Miami will not play its first MLS game until 2020.

However, Beckham and company are wasting no time in getting their infrastructure together. They have already begun the process of and scouting recruiting players.

Gattuso appears to be the man Beckham wants to lead his side in their inaugural season in the MLS.

It’s clear from the size of the project and the names being linked with Miami. Beckham does not want to be just another team in the league.

David Beckham is intent on making a statement. He wants the best of everything, stadium, manager, and players.
