Rumour: PSG counter Barcelona’s Neymar offer

PSG are believed to have counter-offered Barcelona’s original 40 million loan fee plus 170 million after one year offer for Neymar.

According to Spanish outlet Marca, the Paris club have ruled out the loan with a commitment to buy deal.

It is not something that PSG Chairman Nasser Al-Khelaifi is even thought to be considering right now.

Here at Ronaldo.com, we brought you the counter offer placed on the Real Madrid table, that any deal must include Vinicius Jr.

We also told you that it was only a matter of time before Barcelona received a counteroffer of their own.

PSG are holding firm on their valuation of Neymar at 250 million Euros.

They have told Barcelona that any deal must include, Nelson Semedo and Ousmane Dembele.

PSG value the two players at a combined 150 million Euros and therefore want both players plus another 100 million Euros in cash too.

Ousmane Dembele has already stated he does not want to leave the Camp Nou, and his currently out injured too.

Nelson Semedo is Ernesto Valverde’s first-choice right-back and not a player that he wants to relinquish if he can avoid it.

So Barcelona’s problem is they are asking for one player they want to get rid of but doesn’t want to leave and another one they want to keep.

It is understood, that Barca President Josep Maria Bartomeu has placed Oscar Grau, Eric Abidal, and Javier Bordas as the team in charge of negotiations.

The ball is now firmly in the two interested parties court.

Time is running out for either Real Madrid or Barcelona to make this deal happen.

PSG feel they are in total control of the situation and may eventually pull the plug on any deal if they feel they are getting nowhere.

So they can concentrate on mending bridges with the player, to get the best out of him for one more season at least.
