PSG are ready to make a bid for goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma.
According to Italian football new outlet Calciomercato.com, PSG is about to make an offer for the Italian goalkeeper.
PSG are willing to open the bidding at 55 million Euros.
The 20-year-old Italian international and goalkeeping sensation, been with Milan since 2013, and made his senior debut as a 17-year-old back in 2015.
For such a young goalkeeper, his statistics make for impressive reading. he has played 174 senior games and kept an astonishing 62 clean sheets.
He has been at the forefront of much speculation in recent years. largely because of the managerial and board room level turbulence at AC Milan.
It was thought last year would be his last at the Rossoneri after the home crowd turned on him.
This happened after rumours of excessive wage demands and new contracts for both him and his brother.
The Milan faithful felt he was holding their beloved club to ransom.
Milan failed to make the Champions League this season, after finishing fifth in Serie A.
However it is thought under new manager Marco Giampaolo, and an impressive investment in the team so far this summer, and that Donnarumma would be an integral part of his team.
The French Champions, however, have lost goalkeeping legend and Donnarumma’s Italian national team predecessor, Buffon. They have not brought in a notable replacement as yet.
It was only recently that Donnarumma expressed his desire to stay at the club.
Milan’s valuation of the player is always thought to have been the 50 million mark. So an offer that surpasses that may be too good to turn down.
After all, they have another Donnarumma to put in goal if they want.
That’s the older brother of Gianluigi, Antonio Donnarumma. If that fails, they can call on former Liverpool man Pepe Reina.
