Zinedine Zidane wants to loan out new boy Luka Jovic after only two months at Real.
According to The Daily Mail, Zidane has had a falling out with new boy Luka Jovic.
The story goes, that the 21-year-old, has failed to impress his new boss at the Santiago Bernabeu during the preseason.
Real Madrids preparations for the new season has not been the best.
They have struggled at best in their preseason friendlies.
Managing only two victories out of seven preseason games. The losses included a 7-3 mauling at the hands of city neighbours Atletico.
They have, in fact, conceded 18 goals already over those seven games.
Their preparations for the La Liga season, have been made even more difficult by injuries.
They have seen Marco Asensio ruled out for several months with a serious knee injury. Ferland Mendy, Rodrygo, and Brahim Diaz all suffer Hamstring injuries that ruled them out for several weeks.
There have also been disappointments in transfers both in and out.
The saga’s involving the on-off departures of James Rodriguez and Gareth Bale.
The failure to lure Paul Pogab from Manchester United after a very public campaign from Zidane himself.
Now their involvement in the Neymar circus.
It has not quite gone to plan to say the least.
Jovic only joined Los Blancos two months ago, from Eintracht Frankfurt in a deal rumoured to be worth 60 million Euros.
All the new acquisitions have apparently been part of a strategic plan of Zidane’s.
Jovic was Zidane’s first signing and put pen to paper on a six-year contract.
The reports suggest Zidane has been disappointed in the striker’s contribution.
The arrival of Eden Hazard has been marred by rumours of him being overweight and out of shape.
Two of the injured have not even had time to make an impression on the pitch before picking up their injuries (Rodrygo and Mendy).
Zidane is already feeling the pressure. There is talk of strain on his relationship with president Florentino Perez already.
But the apparent fall guy at Madrid fro right now is Luka Jovic. Who after only two months, could already be on his way out.
There will be plenty of suiters, as Madrid struck early to secure his signature.
