According to the Liverpool star, if the Reds win their remaining four matches of the season they will be crowned Premier League champions.

After defeating Chelsea 2-0, Liverpool returned to the first place of the English Premier League, even after Manchester City beat Crystal Palace 3-1.

This leaves the Reds two points ahead of the Citizens in the table, but they have played one more game this season.

Now Liverpool have to play against Cardiff City, Huddersfield Town, Newcastle United, and Wolverhampton Wanderers.

But even after all of this, Mohamed Salah believes Liverpool can be champions if they win their remaining four matches.

“In my opinion, yes,” Salah told Sky Sports.

“We just need to focus on our game and hope Manchester City will lose points.”

Vieira believes composure is the key to title success

Former Arsenal skipper Patrick Vieira has highlighted squad depth and composure as the keys to title success. Liverpool are two points ahead of City in one...

He commented: “I did follow Man City to see the result, it can help us but also it can push us to perform better. You need to score, you can’t lose any points, I knew the result of Manchester City’s game.”

“It’s different when other teams have two or three players on me. [Sadio] Mane is having a very good season, so is [Roberto] Firmino, they are scoring more goals than last season, because the attention on me is giving them more freedom, and I am very happy for them.”

“It helps the team to score more goals, when they focus on my side the other side is free, we are a team and we focus on the team,” he added.

“I am not complaining, I am happy with the result, we are first now so that’s the most important thing. The Premier League is the most important thing for me.”
