Mohamed Salah has left the Egypt squad preparing for upcoming internationals to return to Liverpool for treatment on an injury.
As the Egyptian national team prepares for games against Kenya and Comoros, they will do so without top striker Mohamed Salah.
Salah has an ankle injury, which he apparently been nursing for several weeks.
In a statement from the Egyptian Football Federation, they confirmed that team doctors, coaches and the player felt that returning to his club for treatment was the best thing for everyone.

Salah put in another solid performance in his side’s top of the table clash with title rivals Manchester City.
While Jurgen Klopp will be concerned about his player, he will also see the advantage of him getting some well-needed rest.
Liverpool’s next game is not until November 23rd against Crystal Palace, which gives Salah ten days to recover.
