Poland and Sampdoria defender Bartosz Bereszynski has cautioned his teammates to be weary of Lorenzo Insigne, stating that more attention should be paid at him in the Nations League clash.
The game kicks off in Bologna on Friday at 19.45 UK time (18.45 GMT), in the same group as Portugal.
“I do know a lot about our opponents, but this mustn’t mean that I lower my concentration levels or feel complacent,” said the right-back in his Press conference via Football Italia.
“We want to make a good impression and do our best. Italy are in a reconstruction phase after failing to qualify for the World Cup, but they remain a squad full of stars.
“They’ve all got quality, so I had no particular pointers to give my fellow countrymen. I will say that I’ll pay particular attention to Insigne.
“I have an excellent memory of him, seeing as I marked him last week and it went very well for my team.”
