Manchester United forward Alexis Sanchez is edging closer to the first-team action after posting videos of light training on Instagram.
The former Arsenal man who has endured a tough spell at United injured his knee ligaments during the 3-2 win over the Saints at Old Trafford.
But the Chilean attacker seems to have made a speedy recovery and is already back in light training.
In the video posted on his Instagram story, Sanchez can be seen kicking the ball back to his trainer, while intermittently sprinting on the spot in between.

Prior to Manchester United’s FA Cup defeat at Wolves on Sunday, boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer hinted on Sanchez’ return for the end of season run-in.
“He’s not been on grass yet, so he’s been seeing his people in Barcelona,” he told Manchester United’s official website and cited via the Daily Mirror.
“If we get to around Everton, [Manchester] City, Chelsea, that period, he’ll probably be available. Hopefully [that is the case].“
Solskjaer has urged the fans to support the Chilean despite his poor form at the club, suggesting he would return to his best.
“I’m sure he’s doing everything he can when he comes back, to show his best side,” he said.
The Red Devils will be hoping to have a fully-fit squad to prosecute their upcoming fixtures in both the domestic and European competitions.
