Jadon Sancho will still be a Borussia Dortmund player next season amid so many top European clubs seeking his services, says the club’s sporting director Michael Zorc.

Sancho, 18, has been pivotal in Dortmund’s challenge for the Bundesliga title this season,  scoring nine goals in 34 appearances.

His brilliant displays caught the attention of Gareth Southgate which earned him a national team call-up and his Three Lions debut in October.

He has since won three caps for England and is expected to be included in Southgate’s squad for the Euro 2020 qualifiers against the Czech Republic and Montenegro later this month.

With likes of PSG, Spurs and Man United all linked to the player for a reported sum of £100m this summer, Zorc has quickly brushed aside those links, suggesting he will still be playing at the Signal Iduna Park next season.

Gotze was intimidated by Klopp when they met for the first time

Mario Gotze and Jurgen Klopp met for the first time at Borussia Dortmund, and the German midfielder explains how this was.

“Jadon will play for Borussia Dortmund next season and we are definitely planning with him,” Zorc told Sports Bild and cited via Sky Sports.

“I am far from putting a price tag on Jadon, but I maintain that his transfer would be hard to beat even for the biggest clubs in the world at the moment.”

Sancho left Manchester City to join Dortmund in August 2017, making his debut in the 2-2 draw away at Eintracht Frankfurt in October that year.

Dortmund are currently level on points with leaders Bayern, but currently in the second position thanks to a superior goal difference.
