Chelsea coach Maurizio Sarri plans on giving Eden Hazard an extended run for tonight’s Europa League Group L match at BATE Borisov

After a three-game absence, Hazard made his return to Chelsea as a second-half substitute in last Sunday’s 3-1 win over Crystal Palace in the Premier League.

Now Sarri has included Hazard in his 19-man squad for tonight’s match, where Chelsea hope to secure a fourth straight Europa League win and confirmation of a knockout spot.

But the Italian will be taking a cautious approach with his star player.

“According to our doctor there is not any risk, otherwise he would have stayed at Cobham, of course,” said Sarri on the club website.

Scholes hopes Man United can take advantage of unhappy Chelsea

Paul Scholes hopes to see Manchester United inflict further misery on Chelsea in Monday's FA Cup clash.

“We felt that for him it’s better to play, not for 90 minutes, but to play after two weeks of not playing.

“In the last match, he played only for 30 minutes. The best way for him is that tomorrow he will play for 45 or 50 minutes.”

Alvaro Morata, David Luiz, Antonio Rudiger and Marcos Alonso and an ill Cesc Fabregas are out of the Chelsea squad.

The match between BATE and Chelsea will begin at 18:55 (CEST).
