Maurizio Sarri believes that the Gonzalo Higuain – Paulo Dybala link-up play was worth the price of a match ticket.

Juventus took on Udinese in the Coppa Italia and ran out easy winners even without Ronaldo. It’s safe to say though, that his understudies didn’t do too bad in his absence.

With Cristiano Ronaldo out sick, it was up to Gonzalo Higuain and Paulo Dybala to score the goals for Juventus.

The Argentine pair did not disappoint either. Between them, they scored three of the team’s four goals on the night.

All that was good about Juventus on the night had something to do with Higuain and Dybala.

It was, however, the first goal of the night that has grabbed the headlines.

16 minutes in and the pair began some exquisite one-twos that led to the opening goal.

It left the opponent, their teammates and the entire stadium including their manager amazed.

Speaking after the game to Rai Sport, Sarri doesn’t believe you see goals as beautiful as that very often. In fact, the fans went home after only 16 minutes. They got their money’s worth if they saw that goal.

He said:

“That was a goal of rare beauty, to see three or four exchanges like that at high speed.”

“It was worth the price of the ticket.”
