Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri is reportedly keen to bolster his attacking department in the January transfer window
The former Napoli boss already has Eden Hazard, Pedro, Willian, Morata, and Giroud at his disposal, but it seems he is willing to add some additional quality to his ranks.
According to the British news outlet, Daily Star, Sarri has already initiated contacts with Lyon star Nabil Fekir over a potential winter transfer.
The same source states that Sarri has had a phone conversation with the Frenchman to try to lure him to arrive at Stamford Bridge.
The 25-year-old forward was close to joining Liverpool last summer, but the deal eventually collapsed after he failed to pass the medical tests.
However, a frustrating situation has left no mark on the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner, as he maintained impressive form this season.
Fekir has already bagged six goals this season, having drawn the attention of Bayern Munich, who look to replace the aging Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery.
