Maurizio Sarri insists that there are still final checks to be made before he decides who partners Cristiano Ronaldo upfront for Juventus.
The Bianconeri need to come from a goal down to make it through to the quarter-finals and the unique quickfire knock out rounds of this year’s prestigious competition.
While he rested talisman Cristiano Ronaldo for the final game of the Serie A season, he is adamant from what he has seen at practice the GOAT is firing on all cylinders and ready to go.
However, he is still waiting anxiously to see if Paulo Dybala can pass a late fitness test before he decides whether or not to draft him into the first eleven.
Speaking to the club’s official website he said:
“Ronaldo is training in the right way, yesterday he scored a goal in training of absolute beauty and he is approaching the race in the right way.”
“Dybala? It is still in the hands of the medical staff. We will see what he can do between today and tomorrow.”
Why not check out the odds of CR7 coming out on top in his favorite tournament of them all?
