Italian manager Maurizio Sarri revealed that despite Chelsea’s great performance at Burnley, he wants Eden Hazard to recover as soon as possible.

Last Sunday’s Premier League between Burnley and Chelsea was very revealing for manager Maurizio Sarri, who realized that he has other great players who can help him when Eden Hazard is not able to perform.

However, the former Napoli boss knows that the Belgian winger is the best player in English football right now and he wants Eden to come back as soon as possible in order to help them keep winning matches in all competitions.

The manager revealed that Hazard’s recovery process is almost over, but he still doesn’t know if the number ’10’ will be able to play against Derby County on next Wednesday’s Carabao Cup match.

“I want Hazard in every match possible because we have a lot of very good players but Hazard is something different,” Sarri said of the player via ESPN FC.

“I am very happy because the team was able to score seven goals in two matches without him. That’s a very good sign, but I want Eden as soon as possible.”

“I don’t know for Wednesday [against Derby County in the Carabao Cup] but I hope for Sunday [against Crystal Palace in the Premier League].”

When asked about Ross Barkley’s performance, the manager also revealed that: “He’s doing very well. In this period he’s playing really very well.”

“He improved in the defensive phase, improved very much, and he improved in his physical condition because in the last season for him was really very difficult with a very serious injury.”

“He stopped the activity for six months, so now he’s improving the physical condition. He’s a very good player from the technical point of view. He improved in the defensive phase so I think now Ross is complete,” concluded the Italian manager.
