Sassuolo general manager Giovanni Carnevali have maintained that his midfielder Stefano Sensi will not be joining Milan this month.
Giovanni also went ahead to suggest that no one else will be allowed to leave Sassuolo this transfer season.
There have been reports heavily linking Sensi with a January move to Milan, while Sassuolo teammate and fellow midfielder Alfred Duncan was also linked with a transfer to the same Milan.
The club’s general manager Giovanni Carnevali trashed the reports and declared no movement in form of transfer for any Sassuolo player.
“The player’s received offers from other Italian and foreign clubs, but it’s our will not give up our best players,” Giovanni said, according to Sky Sport Italia and cited in Football Italia.
“Furthermore, we don’t sell players in January. Duncan is also staying with us.”
Sensi was featured in Italy’s youth level where he made just one appearance for the under-17 side, and made his debut for the under-20 side in a 2–2 draw against Poland 2015.
In 2018, Sensi made his debut with the Italy senior team in a 1–0 friendly victory over the United States.
