PSG bid €60m to sign Icardi permanently

PSG are looking to sign Mauro Icardi on a permanent transfer and have made a huge bid towards that. The Argentine joined the French champions on loan last summer, with a €70m option to buy at the end of the season. PSG are now willing to exercise that option, but with slightly less than initially agreed. Les Parisiens are now offering Inter a €50m fee, plus another €10m that could arise from bonuses.  (Sky Sports)

Willian to sign short-term Chelsea contract extension

Chelsea winger Willian has dropped a clue he could be signing a contract extension come the end of the season. The 31-year-old is out of contract at Stamford Bridge in June. But with the season likely to be extended beyond normal schedule, the Brazilian is willing to stay slightly longer. (Mail)

Solskjaer assured United’s spending power is intact

Manchester United head coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been given full assurance he would still have required funds or summer transfers. The Red Devils recently put out a financial report that showed them at a loss. Following speculations they might be in a ‘tough’ financial situation, the United board still maintain the club have their usual spending power.

Bayern were intent on Jadon Sancho transfer

Jadon Sancho is one of the most wanted names in world football right now. Manchester United have been the most prominent name for his services but it would appear Bayern Munich were in the running as well. In fact, the Bavarians stepped up their interest before football was suspended. However, Dortmund wouldn’t entertain such offers as they are against selling their prized asset to a Bundesliga rival. Pochettino a free man and looking for the ‘right’ project

Former Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino has completed his ‘gardening leave’ and is now allowed to manage a new side. The 48-year old has now revealed he is looking for the right ‘project’. Pochettino has hinted he would love a Premier League return and has been linked with Newcastle lately. (Express)

Liverpool urged to take Haaland as Firmino replacement

Former Liverpool midfielder John Barnes has urged his side to put an eye on Dortmund teenage sensation Erling Haaland. The 56-year-old believes Haaland would be an ideal fit for Firmino and would even see his game improve playing alongside Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane. (Express).
