The Hammers have been advised to go all out to sign Sebastien Haller who could become a top class talent for the London side.

Sebastien Haller has been tipped to leave Eintracht Frankfurt this summer after some sensation displays last season. The young Frenchman scored 19 goals in all competitions and also played a big role in helping a team reach the last four of the Europa League.

However, it appears that Haller is likely to leave the club with reports linking him with a move to England.

West Ham United have already lost the services of star forward Marko Arnautovic. Meanwhile a big money bid for Maxi Gomez didn’t work out with the Spaniard preferring a move to Valencia instead.

Manuel Pellegrini is keen on signing a proven striker and has been advised to make sure that Haller joins the side.

The youngster has reportedly agreed a contract with the London outfit while German media claims that nothing has been done yet.

And Kevin Hatchard says that if West Ham sign Sebastien Haller, they would be signing a truly world class player.

Speaking to Wednesday’s Sports Bar, Hatchard said: “The feeling, certainly with Maxi Gomez, is that he prefers to stay in LaLiga. He would rather go to Valencia who have Champions League football, and Santi Mina would go the other way as part of the deal – something Celta would be happy with.

David Abraham, Frankfurt, Bundesliga

David Abraham banned for the rest of the year for shoving Freiburg manager

The emotions ran high - perhaps a bit too high - when Frankfurt were trying to catch up with Freiburg's 1-0 lead, causing some awful scenes.

“In terms of alternatives; Sebastian Haller is being strongly linked with West Ham now.

“I think he’s a super player. He’s a centre-forward who is great at bringing others into play.

“You look at Eintracht’s front three from last season; they had Haller, Luka Jovic and Ante Rebic.

“And a lot of Jovic’s goals are because Haller has either set him up or has dragged a defender out the space Jovic moves into.

“His all-round game is great; he’s good in the air and a really good goalscorer.

“I think he’d be an absolute steal if West Ham could get him.

“The feeling amongst local journalists who follow Frankfurt is there is nothing concrete – but they certainly aren’t denying it. And there have been widespread reports that it has moved on and Haller is very strongly linked to West Ham.

“If they can get it done, I think it could be one of the deals of the season.”
