Sensi happy with Italy debut

Stefano Sensi says he was satisfied with his performance as he made his Italy debut in their 1-0 victory against the USA.

Sensi made his debut as he started and completed Italy’s 1-0 friendly win against the USA on Tuesday.

The Sassuolo midfielder stood in for Jorginho who was allowed to return to Chelsea a few days earlier.

Sensi was happy with his contribution on his debut but bemoaned missed opportunities to increase their lead in the game.

Mancini: “I love Balotelli, but I can’t do anything anymore”

Italy manager Roberto Mancini expressed his exasperation over Mario Balotelli's inability to find a new club, which he thinks is "not normal".

“I’m very satisfied with my performance, but above all with the performance of the team,” Sensi said after their 1-0 over the USA, via Football Italia.

“We created so many chances and the only problem was we lacked a little determination to finish off those opportunities.

“Jorginho is a great player, proving that for Italy, Napoli and Chelsea, but the only thing I can do is be ready and very happy if the CT calls me again.”
