And every year he gets to play more and more games for the Blaugranas.

“What I want is to play, and this season making a place in the center of the field will be a challenge because now there is overbooking in this position, he told Sport.

“It is a very difficult challenge and we will see how the season evolves, but I want to play.”

“[Frenkie De Jong] is a signing that fits perfectly in Barça. Last year it offered great performance in very important Champions games,” he explained.

“It has a very good vision of the game, very good driving and, despite being very young, is very prepared to be with us and help us.”
