Sergio Aguero had to be taken off against Chelsea as the striker seemed unwell.
Sergio Aguero loves scoring against Chelsea more than any other team in the Premier League. This is evident from the fact that the Argentine has scored 10 goals against Chelsea – more than against any team.
Sergio Aguero scored a hattrick in the last face-off between City and Chelsea. The 31-year old started the match hoping to score another in order to surpass Alan Shearer’s record of 11 hattricks.
But the number-10 had did not quite have the evening he had planned. He was seen in discomfort and signaled the City bench for a replacement. Aguero was seen limping on the field and was taken off by his manager.
Pep Guardiola has suffered another blow as Sergio Aguero joins Leroy Sane, Aymeric Laporte, Oleksandr Zinchenko to an already extensive list. His condition is still not known but Guardiola confirmed that the injury looks bad.
“I think Sergio will be bad,” Pep Guardiola said as per Manchester Evening News.
“Hopefully we’ll know tomorrow, but the first indication is not good. It looks like a muscular injury.
“We will see tomorrow. But it is what it is. We have young players who can come in.”
The City striker has scored nine goals in twelve games so far in the Premier League.
