Juventus and Lazio continue their winless run

Juventus and Lazio failed to win yet again, as they both returned home with only a point from their away games in the 33rd Serie A round.

The Bianconeri played a spectacular 3-3 draw at Sassuolo on Wednesday evening, while Lazio were involved in the only goalless game of the week, drawing 0-0 with Udinese.

Simone Inzaghi’s side now slid down the fourth place on the table, nine points behind Juve on the top of the table.

Inter are back in the title race

Goals from Candreva, Biraghi, Sanchez and Gagliardini guided Inter to an easy 4-0 win over rock bottom SPAL in the last game of the round, yesterday evening.

Antonio Conte has now closed the gap behind his former team Juventus to only six points, as Inter seems to be back in the race for the Serie A title.

They have a tough trip to Roma next Sunday, in a game that will probably tell us if Inter are capable to maintain their good rhythm in the last five matchdays of the 2019-20 campaign.

Six-star Atalanta thrashed Brescia in the round opener

In-form Atalanta humiliated Brescia in the first game of the round last Tuesday, netting six past the second-worst team in the league.

Croatian midfielder Mario Pasalic was the star of the night, netting his first hat-trick in the black and blue shirt of La Dea.

De Roon, Malinovsky and Zapata also found their name on the scoresheet, as Atalanta noted their 13th win in the last 14 games across all competitions.
