Check out our Serie A 33rd round preview as we list the three most interesting games to watch in the midweek action of Italian football.
Italian Serie A continues this week with its 33rd Matchday on the schedule from Tuesday to Thursday.
We have 10 games on the program, and three of them are must-watch because of the potential impact they could have on the final standings this season.
Ronaldo.com have listed them for you below in this article.
AC Milan vs Parma
A 2-2 draw at Napoli last evening, kept AC Milan’s unbeaten record in seven games since the return of top-flight Italian football.
The Rossoneri defeated Roma, Lazio and Juventus in the past month and placed themselves straight into the race for the fifth place and direct qualification into the Europa League group stage next season.
They are four points behind Roma and two behind Napoli, as they welcome struggling Parma, who has collected just one point from their past five Serie A outings.
Lecce vs Fiorentina
Lecce will be looking to close the gap behind the safe zone, when they host Fiorentina at the Via del Mare Stadium on Wednesday night.
The Wolves earned a surprising 2-1 victory over Lazio the last time they’ve played at home and managed to collect a point from their trip to Cagliari yesterday evening.
A defeat will throw La Viola straight into the relegation race, as Lecce would come close to only four points behind Giuseppe Iachini’s side.
Sassuolo vs Juventus
At the same time on Wednesday evening, Sassuolo welcomes reigning champions Juventus to the Mapei Stadium.
The Bianconeri are on a three-game winless run, but they still managed to extend the gap above second-place Lazio thanks to Cristiano Ronaldo’s double against Atalanta.
Sassuolo actually helped them in that, as they defeated the Biancocelesti 2-1 at Stadio Olimpico last Saturday.
