Roma midfielder Maxime Gonalons will be in Spain tomorrow to complete his loan move with an option to make the deal permanent next season.
According to Sky Sports Italia, the two clubs agreed terms this evening and Gonalons also gave the all-clear.
It’s believed to be a loan with an option to buy at the end of the season, which some sources are claiming would be in the region of €10m.
The 29-year-old was signed from Olympique Lyonnais for €5m last summer, but struggled for playing time.
He ultimately made 23 competitive appearances for the Giallorossi, providing two assists.
Steven N’Zonzi completed a switch from the Spanish side to Roma before the Italian transfer window shut as both clubs continue to enjoy a cordial rapport.
Sevilla are hoping to improve their positions on all fronts going into the new campaign after narrowly losing the Spanish Super Cup to Barcelona.
Roma, on the other hand, are willing to go one better in the League and European scene after losing to Liverpool in the semi-finals of the Champions League.
