Seville eyeing loan move for Bakayoko

Following a successful spell at AC Milan Bakayoko could be set for another loan move with the Andalusia outfit looking for a loan spell.

Tiemoue Bakayoko might have flattered to deceive during his time at Chelsea but the former Monaco man is not short of suitors. The much-sought midfielder didn’t have a great introduction to English football. Antonio Conte signed the Frenchman after some strong displays for Monaco in the Champions League.

Things didn’t really work out for Bakayoko and the midfielder was shipped to AC Milan last summer on a season-long loan.

After initially struggling to settle down, Bakayoko came to life at the San Siro and became a regular fixture in the club’s starting XI. Now, Estadio Deportivo claims that the midfielder could be set for another loan spell.

Chelsea might have a transfer ban but Bakayoko is still not considered important to the club. Milan want him back at the club. But failure to qualify for next season’s Champions League has changed things. Bakayoko is now back at Chelsea and waiting for his next move.

Serie A Legends: Paolo Maldini, AC Milan’s prodigal son

On the day of his 51 birthday, we remember defender Paolo Maldini as one of the most successful players of all-time and the best...

The player’s agent has already said that Chelsea will always remain the priority. Indeed it is important for Bakayoko to have some stability in his career.

“There are some pretty interesting, quite big clubs that have inquired, but we give priority to Chelsea. We already know there is the Champions League and we are looking for stability. Tiémoué has decided to stay there,” said the player’s agent while speaking to L’Equipe.

However, with no guarantees, the Frenchman could do with another loan spell.

And Seville could be a great destination this summer. Monchi, who returned to the club after a few years in Italy, believes that Bakayoko fits the club’s profile. And new coach Julen Lopetegui won’t be against the idea either.

With three years left on his contract, a spell with Le Nervionesses might help Bakayoko resurrect his career at Stamford Bridge.
