MUMBAI, INDIA - MARCH 04: Premier League legend Alan Shearer attends a coaching demonstration and tournament for local youngsters led by locally trained Premier Skills coaches on March 4, 2017 in Mumbai, India. Premier Skills is the Premier League's global coaching and referee development programme and has been running in Mumbai since 2016. The Premier Skills programme, a partnership between the Premier League and the British Council, trains sports coaches, referees and youth leaders to return to their own communities and enhance their existing football sessions, whilst also developing their leadership skills and a greater understanding of the role football can play in tackling other social issues. Premier Skills has already delivered a highly successful programme in India, training 400 coaches, who in turn have reached 20,000 young people since the programme's inception in 2007. Alan Shearer has praised Aaron Ramsey following his performance against Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday.

Ramsey was involved in the build-up to Arsenal’s second goal after coming off the bench in the second half as the Gunners defeated Spurs 4-2.

It was the movement of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette that added to Arsenal’s attack that ran Spurs into disarray.

“Look at the distance between the two center-halves inviting Ramsey to run in behind,” said Shearer, according to Football.London.

“They did it time and time again and Tottenham couldn’t live with them finding the space, running in behind.”

Arsenal are reported to have withdrawn a contract offer to Ramsey, as he looks to set to leave the club on a free next summer.

Wenger doesn’t know if he will return to management

The French coach spent 22 years in charge of English Premier League club Arsenal and he has yet to decide if he will continue in a new club.

It is said that the Wales international cannot play to his full potential in the same team as Mesut Ozil.

He believes is that both players are different footballers that need to take up positions in the same area on the pitch to do very different things.

Arsenal boss Unai Emery was unable to call on the services of Ozil against Tottenham due to back spasms, although he refused to go into detail about the German’s fitness issues in his post-match press conference.

After the team’s win over Spurs, Ozil’s critics may soon be calling on the Gunners hierarchy to reconsider their decision on Ramsey.

“If Lacazette and Aubameyang go wider there is going to be that space for Ramsey to run through,” said Shearer.”

“And he is so effective doing it.”
