The new Newcastle United quit the English Championship side before joining the Premier League club.

Steve Bruce quit his position as manager of English Championship side Sheffield Wednesday a few days ago.

And then he was appointed the new coach of Newcastle United in the Premier League.

But his former club didn’t like the way he forced this move, and today they released a written statement where they say they will take legal action against Steve Bruce.

“The club is disappointed to learn via a public statement issued by Newcastle United that it has appointed former Sheffield Wednesday staff Steve Bruce, Steve Agnew, and Steve Clemence,” Sheffield wrote according to Sky Sports.

“Regardless of the fact that the staff resigned from their positions with the club on Monday.”

“There remain outstanding legal issues to be resolved between the club and the staff and Newcastle United,” they continued.

“The club is currently considering its position and taking the appropriate legal advice.

“No further comment will be made by the club concerning this matter,” the team concluded.
