Andriy Shevchenko feels Ibrahimovic’s return could help Milan a lot but only if he is ready to take great responsibilities.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic is constantly being linked with a move to AC Milan. Ibrahimovic, who has represented Milan in both blue-black and red-black, has expressed that he would like to return to Italy. And Andriy Shevchenko believes his former club would be greatly benefitted by his return.

As per reports by Calciomercato, Andriy Shevchenko is keen to see Zlatan Ibrahimovic play for AC Milan once again. The former Milan striker also praised the Swede for his extraordinary career graph and said that he is a player who can be relied upon.

“If Ibrahimovic wants to return to Italy and he will be in condition, he will still be able to give so much,” Andriy Shevchenko said.

“He’s a good man and he has a huge resume. Everywhere he has gone, he has done well.

“If he wants to return to Milan, he can help the team a lot.

“Accepting Milan would mean taking on great responsibilities. It’s at the end of his career. It wouldn’t be a pit stop,” the 43-year old insisted.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic has run out of contract with his previous club LA Galaxy. The 38-year old has stated that he would love to play with a top European club one last time.
