The 21-year-old England international has chosen to stay with Everton and manager Marco Silva expected to give him the “conditions to grow.”
Ademola Lookman will be given the “conditions to grow” according to Everton manager Marco Silva.
“I never had any doubts about that [Lookman’s ability],” Silva told the club’s official website.
“From the first day I came in and started to work with our squad, I didn’t have any doubts about his quality, what he can achieve and what he can do playing in our shirt.”
“It is up to us to work with him and give him all the conditions to grow,” he added.
“But I don’t doubt he will be an important player for us. He is already – but he will become more and more so in the future.”
“It is important [to have goals from everywhere] and important for them [Lookman and Bernard],” commented Silva.
“I told them before the match that it is not enough to just assist. They were important goals for Ademola and for Bernard, his first for the club.”
