Atletico Madrid boss Diego Simeone refused to confirm whether or not he’s interested in making a move for Alvaro Morata

The Spanish striker is being strongly linked with a return to La Liga in this month’s transfer window with Sevilla director of football Joaquin Caparros confirming their interest this week.

Reports in Spain have suggested that Atletico have entered the race for Morata’s services, but Simeone refused to give anything away.

“The only thing I’m thinking about is the upcoming match against Levante,” said Simeone, according to Fox Sports.

Reguilon opens up on his Clasico bust-up with Messi & Suarez

Real Madrid full-back Sergio Reguilon broke his silence into what really went on in his Clasico bust-up with Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez.

“I don’t speak about players that aren’t with us, only those that are.

“I can’t confirm or deny anything because coaches wait to see what the club can do.

“Some players want more minutes, some could be sold by the club, some could arrive. We need to wait until January 31.”

Atletico drew 1-1 against Girona in the first leg of their Copa del Rey last-16 tie after Alexander Lozano cancelled out Antoine Griezmann’s early opener.
