Lazio manager Simone Inzaghi has lauded his team’s effort after their 2-0 win against Bologna on Wednesday afternoon.

Simone traveled with his Lazio team to face his brother Filippo on the dugout on Wednesday and came out victorious thanks to goals by Luiz Felipe and Lulic Senad.

It marked Lazio’s second win in a row after their 3-1 home win against Cagliari on Saturday.

“We won a very important game,” Simone said, as quoted by Football Italia.

“We did really well in the first half, less so in the second. Bologna improved but we stayed focused. Now we look ahead to Torino with great confidence.

“There are still 20 matches to go and 60 points to play for, so I’m not interested in looking at the table. I look at certainties.

“Important players like Lucas Leiva and Luis Alberto are back, and I’m satisfied to have kept a clean sheet after conceding against Cagliari in the last minute.

“We can’t party too much though, because we have Torino to think about before the break.”
