Manchester United’s boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has hinted that his footballer Paul Pogba might be able to play a deeper role at the club.
Paul Pogba has been rumored to leave Manchester United for more than one year now.
But according to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, he might be able to use him in a deeper role for the 2019-2020 English Premier League season.
“I thought they [Pogba and McTominay] played really well in the first half,” said Solskjaer after beating Tottenham Hotspur in a pre-season friendly according to The Mirror.
“They haven’t done that before [the tour] as a two and today I thought they really looked really like a good pair.”
The Red Devils commented: “Of course we’ve got Fred and Nemanja [Matic] second-half, we have Andreas [Pereira], so it’s something we have to look at.”
“But we controlled the game better. Second-half we didn’t keep the ball well enough, so disappointed with the second half, how we finished, really.”
“But it’s been a great tour. And those two played well,” he commented.
“He [Pogba] can play in a two as he does for France but he has also got the freedom of picking his moments when to go forward.”
